A strange, but fun episode Warning: Spoilers
Science fiction elements are not uncommon in Lupin III (Take for example, the "second skin" from Pycal in the second episode) though I was never expecting to see time-travel shenanigans so early in the series, when things were still (mostly) down to earth.

I sincerely was expecting the whole time-traveling thing being some sort of trick, especially in the scene when Lupin vanishes into thin air just to reappear almost immediately (Seriously, what's up with that scene? The dub version I watched didn't give any explanation for that, it just happens) Apparently Kyosuke Mamo is not only able to travel through time and space, he was also able to enter into Lupin's dreams, yet somehow he was easily defeated by a simple trick he should have seen coming, but still, the mystery of the episode made it fun to watch.

I wonder if the backtory of Mamo served as the basis for the futuristic Lupin VIII cancelled spin-off.
