Loxton and Quinnan are on hand to help Dennis Alsop, a DSS Inspector, who's just been pulled out of a river by a well known homeless man, and drunk Stanley Powell.
A good episode, the show seems to be somewhat back on form, better than the last few by a mile, it has a good story, and some interesting characters. The dynamic between The Alsops is good, most intriguing of all though, is seeing what Mark Dyce looks like, Mrs Alsop has great taste, even if Buchanan's cockney accent is a bit Dick van Dyke.
Tony Roper is the best element here I think it's fair to say, he'd have been a very busy man at the time, busy with Rab C Nesbitt, perhaps where most fans would know him from, poor guy always played a drunk.
Pretty good, 7/10.
