Loxton is called to a road accident, a man and his pregnant wife have crashed their newly purchased car, could it perhaps be linked to a robbery at a local garage where MOT certificates were stolen.
A good episode, one that does have a very heavy content, and a pretty bleak storyline. I think there is a real basis here for a series or feature length drama, they just about manage to tell the story in a cohesive way, without making it feel rushed.
There isn't any cheer here, but we do get to see the lighter side of Loxton.
Alex Walkenshaw appears here, and would of course appear many years later as Dale. He is pretty good here, and we can only assume he made an impression, must have been his acting, not the hair.
8/10.
