Cathy deals with an Asian lady, who's suffering from mental cruelty from her husband, Meadows and Greig investigate a man, believed to have assaulted his wife, badly.
A strong, solid episode, it's a very good, hard hitting story, it feels very gritty very raw. The acting throughout this episode is genuinely first rate.
I hope this will see Cathy returned to the Relief, she would have been missed. She was a little harsh towards Quinnan and Loxton, but the latter probably deserved it.
Guy Manning is great as Keith, it's actually one of the best guest performances I can remember on the show, there have been plenty of good, sincere performances, this guy took it up a notch.
Jamila Massey was also excellent as Mrs Patel, it makes a little bit of a change for us to see some cultural sensitivity shown.
An impressive watch, 8/10.
