to be honest, i don't understand why everyone is getting so uptight about this.
Ryan Cooley had been planning to go to college, and knew way before the season ever began filming that they were going to kill JT off.
and i think the writers of the show know exactly what they are doing, if they didn't, i think they would be out of a job.
now, in retrospect, the episode probably did not need to feature a boiling feud between Mia Jones and Liberty Van Sant, but it helped lift up the story line for future episodes.
and if you really sit back and think, if YOUR best friend died, you would be in shock and not know what to do OR how to act. you would probably put yourself in regretful situations out of pure in ability to think rationally. so cut them a break with the whole "Toby wasn't sad" thing. i'm thinking it's going to hit Toby in a later episode.
you guys HAVE to give the show a chance to catch up with itself.
