Low budget TV movie, but watchable

There's nothing amazing about this TV film but there's nothing bad about it either. The plot is no worse than many hollywood blockbusters I've seen. The acting is credible but nothing special.

If you want a lazy afternoon watching TV, you could do a lot worse than this film.

It was good if it didn't have Tori

Warning: Spoilers
A frustrated artist finds a job in a New England mansion as a house sitter to retreat and paint. The owner's a nerdy coin collector who wants to marry her, so does his brother, a handsome plumber played by Tori's future husband Dean McDermott (no secret since Tori even uses his last name in the film credits) but an evil secret is in their past which will put Elyse's life on the line. It sounds like a good premise for a Lifetime movie chiller, only one thing is wrong: Tori Spelling. Her face lift is magnified with heavy makeup and dark eye shadow showing in frequent closeups. Being a TV movie, it especially suffers badly on small TVs. The suspenseful ending was the only portion where we finally lost track of miss puffy face showing her inner thoughts and motives a few minutes in every slow draggy scene. Absurd actions also draw suspense out such as trying a phone we're told doesn't work when she could take a few steps to escape through the front door. Also, her friends arrive in a car to help, but they stay in the creepy house instead of driving home. Why?

If you want a crap movie, watch this one!

Tori Spelling, is an out of work artist who decides to house sit for a mysterious man and finds herself embroiled in a deadly triangle.

This pathetic excuse for a movie contained bad acting, a bad storyline and a bad ending, so if that is what tickles your fancy- watch this classic "no hit wonder". Not even valuable on $1 day at the local video shop. Buy an instant scratch-it instead. The story jumps from one problem to the next too quick and hence the storyline is too unrealistic. The story of events is not believable as the problems Tori's character gets herself into, are caused by her own oblivion to avoid the 'out of bounds' sections of the house(as per told by the owner of the house).

Not a remake of Goldie Hawn's Housesitter

Warning: Spoilers
I don't intend to create a spoiler, but be warned there may be tmi here if you want to see this movie. This movie is about an art student (played by Tori) that gets hired to house sit. It is a mystery suspense (with some romance thrown in)film. Dean plays a plumber that helps Elise(the artist) out when she finds a broken pipe. The cat in the movie is crazy. Everywhere the cat goes Elise follows. As she does, there are more and more weird things that she finds in the house. This is an interesting flick. It will keep you guessing who the mystery is really about. The home owner, artist, cat, or plumber. I will let you watch it to find out the rest.
