''Free the Govan two!''
Rabical-9112 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
A Gaelic television crew are going around Govan trying to film a documentary about changes in the city but can find nothing worth shooting. However, when news of a double murder becomes public knowledge, they cannot wheel their cameras fast enough.

The two charged with murder happen to be Rab and Jamesie. Rab awakens in a morgue ( having been found and believed dead in a gutter ) after the pathologist tries to cut him open and accidentally causes the pathologist to stab himself with his own scalpel. Jamesie however catches a burglar trying to ransack his house and when he attacks the would-be thief with a toasting fork, the thief drops down dead of a heart attack. It is now up to their family and friends, as well as the television crew, to clear their names.

An entertaining if somewhat far fetched effort. No way on earth could Rab be capable of murdering someone. He may be violent but he is not a killer. His friends' lack of faith in his, and even Jamesie's, innocence is a bit much to take. The Gaelic news reporter is played by Siobhan Redmond, looking sexy in a tartan dress. Redmond would later appear in BBC Scotland's 'The High Life' as Shona Spurtle.

Funniest bit - catching sight of Rab in the street whilst driving past, the news reporter tries to attract his attention by knocking on the passenger window. Rab, smashed out of his skull, hurls the bottle he is drinking from at her window, terrifying her!
