Helen and George Scott arrive in London from The US, to spend time with their friends, Guy and Diana Bellamy. George is instantly mistaken for a Captain Rudolph by a hotel guest, then he hears Diana's Nanny Geeta mention the same name, coincidence?
An episode that highlights what I love about this show, and what I find totally and utterly frustrating about it too, I came away with more questions than I had halfway through, but therein lies the appeal, it's the ambiguity that's so intriguing, your own mind is forced to put the pieces together.
What did Geeta know, was she merely a bystander, or did she have some sort of psychic inclination, we'll never know, all we can do is guess.
Just to note, Philip Latham's penultimate performance, only a small part, but what presence he had. A very competent cast, what was it about Meg Davies, though the voice or the figure, stunning woman, and so talented, she really stood out.
Very clever, but leaves your imagination to fill in the blanks. This could so easily be remade and filled out a bit.
7/10.
