Some kids from the Wagon Train plan to run away. For Roger Mobley and Dennis Rush it's the usual kids stuff, but the slightly older Jack Chaplain he's wanting to recover some stolen loot that his outlaw father House Peters, Jr. hid away. Of course there are some other people after that loot as well, both the authorities and other outlaws.
Getting wind of their plans John McIntire and Frank McGrath fake a quarrel whereby Charlie Wooster quits the Wagon Train and serves as a shadow for the kids. They'll need one because Michael Forest is also on their trail looking for the hidden money.
Nice episode and that 'quarrel' that McIntire and McGrath cook up is a hoot.
