Guest stars Hugh Beaumont and Anne Baxter, an army colonel and his wife are
visiting the Grangers at Shiloh. Anne Baxter and John McIntire have some history
from back in New Orleans.
But it's Jeanette Nolan and Baxter that make some history when they are kidnapped by some Comanches who have jumped the reservation. The chief's son was taken by the army for killing a soldier and they want to swap the women for him.
I have to say Nolan keeps a cool head in the situation, but Baxter sees it as a way to get her husband out of a backwater post and behaves badly.
I wasn't truly happy with the ending, but big kudos go to Jeannette Nolan for her work in this Virginian story.
