A silent world
bkoganbing1 October 2020
In one of the outstanding episodes of the series Aldo Ray portrays a powerful man who is deaf, dumb, and illiterate. A triple handicap that's frmidable enough for any individual.

Ray is on the run after killing a man accidentally in a fight that the other guy started. But he takes time enough to save Don Quine from drowning in a creek. A grateful Stacy gets The Virginian to hire him at Shiloh.

Ray is really outstanding in conveying he pain, anguish and loneliness of a man caught in a silent world, not knowing whom to trust. Don Quine works real hard to get that trust.

Next to Ray the outstanding performance is that of Alfred Ryder a real bottom feeding bounty hunter on Ray's trail. Ryder believes in bringing them in dead because it's easier. There are a couple of other bad guys who want Ray out of the way for their own reasons.

A must for Aldo Ray's fans.
