Trampas bunkoed n Albequerque
bkoganbing16 July 2020
Doug McClure in his run n The Virginian occasionally thought with his male member. So when he comes up $1500.00 short on a cattle deal he wasin Albequerque for he quickly figures out it wasKathryn Hays who robbnd him.

Which is only natural since she aso stole a valuable jewel and is looking to peddle it to its original owners,a respected Spanish family in New Mexico.

This Virginian story leans to the comic and of all the regulars on the show, Doug McClure had the natural bent for comedy. Besides Hays, both Warren Oates and Jerome Courtland have some prominent toles and are both quite enjoyable.

So is Kathryn Givney as Courtland's harriden of a mther. She's got one scene on the beginning, but it's memorable.

This one you will enjoy..

A nice helping of Oates

This episode was very silly and I enjoyed every minute. What's not to like when it features my favourite actor in Westerns, the late, great Warren Oates. He popped up in many of the series made in the 1960s. Not all, but a lot of them made it across the pond to the UK. He was usually cast as a character on the wrong side of the law but that was no deterrent - spotting him always put a smile on my face. I wouldn't like you to think I'm shallow or anything, but with him here sharing screen time with the charismatic Clu Gulager and the hugely likable Doug McClure, it's like all my Christmases have come at once.

Loved the first review here A NICE HELPING OF OATES. As if someone snuck in my mind but found a way more eloquent way of expressing it! imho a perfect review for this episode! Well ... except for the 9/10 ... considering the WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE WHY and especially the FUNNY (really needed that - who doesn't?!) i feel it's worth a 10!!
