"Take Dead Aim" casts Edgar Barrier (later seen in "Don Gringo") as The Great Bianco, aging sharpshooter married to gorgeous assistant Cassie (Mala Powers), who admires the prowess of Johnny Yuma and asks him to become his second assistant. Cassie appears to be terrified of her husband's dependence on the bottle, though his skills remain sharp from years of practice. She is pleased to have a younger man traveling with them, but her advances are rebuffed by the astute Yuma. Bianco's background as a Hungarian count means that he believes himself a failure on two continents, while the scheming Cassie hopes that one day she'll find the right man to make her a wealthy widow. Though she never became a top star Mala Powers possessed great talent, along with a stunning figure that is showcased in every costume she wears in this episode.
