I am sure that there are other episodes that I liked, but this is the only one I really remember. Skip Homier is fantastic and makes you really want him to do well. The ending is tough, but maybe that is what makes it memorable. If I were to recommend someone watching only one episode of this show, this would be the one.

The only bad part about this episode was the intrusion by troublemaker skip homeier ... he plays the same role in every western he's in so there is never any suspense about what will happen ... and guess what, it happens right on cue... if i didn't like rawhide so much i would have skipped this skip episode
