Secrets Revealed

Once again pay dirt is struck. Why no one else but me is writing a brief review is hard to fathom. Ed is the true center of this one, but he has much company. First of all, his spirit leader comes back from the dead one more time to help him find his father, who abandoned him 20 years previously. The man is pointed out to him. What transpires is touching. Ed may have been my favorite character on this show. He is childlike but intense, probing and accepting. In other parts of the episode, a man shows up to tune the piano in the Brick. He is blind and about as ascerbic as one can be. He and Holling butt heads over and over. Some pretty cool lessons are learned in a rather harsh way. And then we have the continuing saga of Maggie and Mike. She, ,of course, believes she causes the deaths of men with whom she is involved. They go on a journey of major discovery, both external and internal.
