Dick and the Law
Hitchcoc28 February 2023
There are some nice moments. Dick is being sued for plagiarism by a farmer who says he wrote a paragraph on how to install a shower head that was stolen by Dick. He wants half a million dollars. During the trial, Dick acts smug and silly, angering the judge. But the funniest part of the episode has to do with George trying to build his vocabulary. He stops every so often to look up words he doesn't know because he thought his friend was in a sanitarium when he was actually in a solarium. During the trial, he clarifies the use of a word, a moment which is really funny. The other great bit is how the entire town, including the local newspaper, turns on him as if were a thief or a scoundrel. Michael immediately fires him from the TV station. Of course, Stephanie gets involved, in order to supplement shallowness.

Dick in a lawsuit

A farmer who wrote a how-to book sues Dick for plagiarism.

Not one of the funniest episodes but OK. Harley shows up, saying he has a new job, then hands Dick a subpoena! George has some funny moments when he mentions he is looking up words he does not understand, like plagiarism.
