Janey is preparing for her driving test, but needs a responsible adult to take her out, the only one that seems to fit the bill, is a bearded Michael. Ben, feuds with his neighbour, Mr Casey, who's dog Gemma, leaves something unwanted on the porch.
I've always enjoyed this episode, there's something of The Victor Meldrews about Ben in this episode, he really is the grumpy old man here, a shame he didn't appear more frequently. His feud with Casey is very funny, the pair really are like children, you can honestly see how things spiral out of control.
Janey should be centre stage here, but it's Ben who steals the show, his decline into primeval man is very funny.
Favourite scene, perhaps the opening, with Ben's dodgy assistant of the week, I also found a bearded Michael quite funny.
Maybe not a classic, but still funny, and certainly memorable.
