"A Morkville Horror" plays on the recent success of "The Amityville Horror," finally mentioning Mindy's missing father and grandmother, away touring on the road with their orchestra. Mindy's childhood home has been put up for sale by her father, and Bickley shows an interest in buying it. Mork has been working on improvements to the place, only to speak of being attacked by unseen winds and furniture. Hearing voices in the closet has Mork suggesting tea in Wyoming, but it's only a vacationing Exidor (Robert Donner), who admits that one cannot vacation in his own home! ("out of the water, don't you see that fin?"). No sooner does Exidor leave than things grow cold, fierce winds blow, and paintings begin moving by themselves. The house was originally built by Mindy's great aunts in 1894, the sisters shutting themselves away after a mysterious poisoning put them under suspicion. Mork finds himself growing sensitive to the unseen ghosts, and becomes Mindy's dead aunts Lucinda and Deirdre ("it's not easy having body guests!"). Before leaving, he channels Mindy's late mother, offering words of comfort to the daughter that misses her ("there's nothing wrong with giving up things you've outgrown").
