In one of the best Season 1 episodes, Westie Side Story, Hank and company met their new neighbors, a Laotian family: Kahn Souphanousinphone, his wife Minh and their daughter Connie (Kahn Jr.). This episode, The Son That Got Away, is the first Season 2 one that features the Souphanousinphones and of course is Bobby with Connie, Hank with Kahn and Peggy with Minh. Bobby and Connie have the best relation out of the three, they have fun time together at school, they have tired their teacher and because of that here Hank and Kahn will see each other's face. And of course there's friction: "it's you boy's fault we are here" "Kahn Jr. is the mastermind behind all this", and of course there will be a punishment for both Bobby and Connie. Peggy and Minh will be together later on in the episode when both Bobby and Connie are missing and they will be trying to find them and certainly not only the wives will be worried but also the husbands so yes we will continue seeing Hank together with Kahn but with them, while trying to find Bobby and Connie, will be also Dale.

This episode has really hilarious moments thanks to Dale and his relatives, well better said thanks to Dale ("when I need to correct Joseph I tell him he's adopted". "How did he know I wanted a beer?"), his relative Nancy, Joseph and John Redcorn. And of course if Dale is with Hank and Kahn is because Joseph is with Bobby and Connie. The kids went to "the caves", everyone knows why teens go to "the caves", in other words in "the caves" Joseph was procreated so you know the parents are more freaked out when they finally find where their kids are, this time, certainly it wasn't really a relief. But what's going on in the caves? Well, we have Joseph and Connie hand in hand but certainly nothing of what, for instance, Peggy is really worried about ("before I am in-laws with Minh"), is actually Bobby feeling upset, sad, feeling lonely ("I see things clearly now. I'm gonna grow up without anyone to love and die friendless and alone like Weird Al Yankovic"), lost.

Good episode… another favourite and hilarious part: - Connie: "you've been to an R movie?". - Joseph: "Yeah…but the only person naked was Harvey Keitel".
