Jonathan Harris, well known as Dr. Smith on "Lost in Space" guest stars as the Bulmanian ambassador who is trying to send stolen top secret rocket fuel back to his home country. Max and 99 go undercover as valet and maid in this script written by Adam's sister, Gloria Burton (her third, and sadly last TV writing credit).
Harris and Adams co-starred together on "The Bill Dana Show" with Harris playing the hotel manager Mr. Phillips with Adams as the bumbling house detective, Glick. They are clearly having fun in this reunion and have a nice scene where 86 works on getting the ambassador drunk so he can steal the key from around his neck.
It's not as funny as Burton's previous scripts for the series, which were basically excuses for Adams to do his Ronald Coleman impression, but its not bad either. Put this one somewhere in the middle of the "Get Smart" ranking.
