The main plot involves Michelle taking Comet for a walk. He gets loose chasing a car with a giant weiner on it and then meets a collie. The whole family goes on a search mission throughout the city to find him. Seeing the streets of San Fransisco is a real treat.
The other subplot is also the part that sticks out to me the most. It involves Jesse being voted out of his band because he's lost his passion for the music. seeing it happen is also genuinely heartbreaking--one of the saddest moments in the show. But he tries to prove he doesn't need them. He makes some phone calls and and gives Michelle permission to walk Comet. He was just distracted.
I love when I can feel more than one satisfying emotion in an episode.
