A trip to the mainland results in chaos, arrests, assaults and AA meetings.
The Mainland is another of those amazingly funny episodes. Graham Linehan is obviously a man of great comedy taste, referencing the wonderful One foot in the Grave, even casting the brilliant Richard Wilson.
Father Jack gets big laughs without the need to even speak, so many funny aspects, such as the sign about crows, and Mrs Doyle's afternoon tea.
Funny throughout, but it's the scenes between Ted and Richard Wilson that really get the laughs, Wilson's annoyance at that catchphrase is played on to perfection.
Superb, 10/10.
