"Pressure Point" is a frustrating episode from "The F.B.I.". This is because although the show is pretty good, there is one scene that was frustratingly bad...and it really impacted on my enjoying the program.

The story is about a guy who is in bed with the mob but he wants more...he wants to have a spot on the council. But to do this, he bribes a member of the council to recommend him. The pair also are working together to build an illegal casino in the Detroit area. But when things start falling apart and the F.B.I. becomes involved, the mob wants to cut their losses and kill both of these guys. The question is...who will get to them first, the hired killers or the F.B.I..

In one scene, a hitman is holding a man and his wife at gunpoint. The man, bravely, attacks the killer--tossing him headfirst into the wall. The killer is temporarily knocked out...and the man and his wife run upstairs. They never take the man's gun nor look for it and, frankly, when the guy is unconscious they don't hit him over the head with an object nor stomp his head. Instead, they give him ample opportunity to wake up and then chase them. I really HATED this scene and found it to be among the worst I've seen on the 4 1/2 seasons I've so far watched. This just seemed poorly written and executed. Otherwise, a decent and enjoyable episode.
