I like Jessica Bowman as an actress much better then Erica Flores. This change was good. I usually do not like to see actor changes in the middle of a series. But this was a good change. Erica Flores seemed way to whiny. I do not know why this change happened during season 3 episode 15, but interesting, how they remade the introduction to the show immediately. This episode of Dr Quinn, was strange though with everyone in such fear. The pastor was not much help either. The trust of something written in the newspaper was funny. I really like this show, and rewatch all the episodes every few years. I wish it did not end so abruptly.

Erika Flores was the best Colleen

When the switching of the actresses for Colleen I remember becoming totally disgusted. Jessica Bowman changed to whole character into a whiny girl who was way too needy. Her wooden performance was marked with bouts of blank stare moments when facial expressions would have really helped. At times when anger was the emotion needed for a scene she would scream her lines as she ran off. Her worst performance was this first episode she was in and it did not help that the episode was not the best written. I really wish Erika would have stayed and kept the continuity of the character. Erika was awesome as Colleen Cooper.
