Rob Petrie has been in charge of the annual community talent show for the last few years in a row.
Auditions and practices are held and the most-talented performers are chosen by Rob to be in the talent show.
It so-happens that Rob's wife Laura has been a shoe-in as the de-facto female performer the whole-time that Rob has held his position as director of the talent show.
The reason for Laura always being chosen for the talent-show is simple. Laura has always been the most-talented lady to audition for the talent-shows.
This year's event is approaching and they are having an informal rehearsal-tryout for anyone interested in being in the talent-show.
Laura demonstrates the beginnings/rough-outline of a new dance-routine and she explains it as she carefully goes through it. Laura's short dance-routine is decent and it shows promise.
The next performer to demonstrate something for the upcoming talent show is a character named Anita Lebost, played by actress Sylvia Lewis.
I don't think that anybody was ready-for,or expecting, the truly amazing performance that character Anita Lebost puts-on for everyone.
This lady is a stunningly-talented,amazingly limber and energetic dancer !
Character Anita Lebost dances-up a storm and her performance makes Laura's routine look like something a clumsy kid might do in front of a mirror by themselves!
Anyone that watched even a short snippet of both Laura's and Anita's performances would have no question or doubt as to who was the better act. Anita was much, much better. In fact, both of the acts don't even belong on the same stage,to be honest.
Anita is head and shoulders above Laura here, without question.
The thing is,we all know how selfish and childish that Laura is. Laura has won the talent show for the last several years in a row,and she has (or had) every expectation of winning it again this year.
If Laura doesn't win the talent show,Rob will be having a rough-time at home for the foreseeable future.
If Rob doesn't give the talent-show part to the obviously-more talented Anita,he will look like a hack and a putz for Laura.
Will Rob have the nerve to do the right thing, even if it means going 'against' his worrisome wife?
Is there any easy way out for Rob ?
Check it out and tell us what YOU think!
