Briggs and Louis are sent to Jersey, on the hunt for some stolen, prizes horse semen, they are to report to Detective Sergeant Jim Bergerac, but fail to spot him.
Of all the crossover shows ever conceived, whoever would have been bold enough to put The Detectives and Bergerac together, the result is a brilliant piece of television.
Some of the one liners here were just side splitting, more semen jokes than you can shake a stick at, this was hilarious.
John Nettles and Terence Alexander step into their roles with perfect ease, both play their parts with a real degree of integrity, Nettles looks set to laugh several times, but manages to resist.
Nigel Davenport is great, and actually makes the character quite villainous.
