Liz Rawton investigates the ram raiding of a shop, earlier in the night Stamp and Loxton stopped the wife, who they believed was drink driving.
It's an interesting story, think Cinderella going backwards, a girl who's gone from rags to riches, and back to rags again. It's a clever story, I liked the way it develops, a good set of characters, and a new teen, Mike and Liz.
I like how Liz cuts Tony down to size, he's clearly dazzled by the charms of the delightful Mrs Benson, she's quite tough here, a little jealous, perhaps, definitely a little hard nosed.
It feels like the first night time episode for a while.
