Kerry is currently in serious hot water after being some agent provocateur with David Radford, and arrested by DPS before been suspended. Also, Gabriel is unhappy with June for blabbing about his true self to Kerry without consulting him. He quickly takes matters into his own hands by ordering June out of car so he can confront Kerry alone. He breaks into her house not sure what's he's expecting to find then sacrifices his presence on scene when Tony and Reggie were arriving.
Andrea knows she's about hung her out to dry worrying Kerry will reveal her true self as well. Bruce Malcolm is hardly helpful to Andrea.
Thought it be a whodunit mystery as to who shot and killed Kerry, apart from Gabriel, there's Andrea Dunbar (who Kerry found out she's an undercover journalist, and fling with Neil Manson), loser Smithers (although he was with her when she got shot) who Kerry made rape allegation against, of course David Radford made threat to kill her after she betrayed him.
As Andrea found newspaper cutout with pictured evidence of herself (in Kerry's house) as journalist and disposed it down the toilet, don't know what Gabriel expect to find (when June told him about his false identity) when he broke into her flat yet made desperate attempt to think Kerry possibly been abducted after a break-in.
I was quite impressed when dealing with teenage mugger, Gabriel finally caught the hooded scumbag with the knife by throwing bag of rubbish hitting back of his head, haha.
