_______A Good Old Detective Episode; GIVE IT A TRY!!!
Seeing that this episode has an average score of 6.6 among the users, in my opinion just means that they don´t remember the episode or that most users that voted don´t like detective stories much, which is completely fine; everyone has the right to have his own taste; nevertheless, I sincerely think that all Batman viewers, either if they consider themselves fans of the Dark Knight or not, should give a second SLOWER TRY to this episode and let its detective plot have the time to catch them within the story at hand.
Unlike other episodes where we are given the necessary elements to know what happened right from the start, in this case we have to listen to what each one of the parts has to say about it and reconstruct the case; we find ourselves listening to three different stories about what happened.
...And even when the complete truth maybe will never be revealed as at least one of the three implicated seems not to want it to be really known, let´s hope everything will work out all right in the story with the info at hand...
A good old detective story of the Batman and one that, in my humble opinion, deserves a much higher average score; I understand that not all of us like the same kind of stories; maybe my 9 is too high, but I want to think that, even if you are among those who normally prefer more spectacular and dynamic stories, this episode should be given a chance to rank among your favorite ones from season one, or at least, get a slightly higher score...how about an 8?
Anyway, there are many good detective stories in the BATMAN screen versions, but given that this was one of the first episodes of being produced in this series, I think it also deserves the credit of having helped to establish the 1992´s BATMAN as the most interesting cartoon about the character.
