A bit of spice, if only.

Ruth turns down advances from a pair of guys, but Leigh and Caralyn jump in, only to discover they have a large yacht. Charlie gets a date with the exciting Leslie and Ruth chats up a man at the bar.

So, I didn't dislike the first episode, it made me laugh a few times, this second one however seems to fit the billing as one of Britain's worst sitcoms. The script must have been written after a drunken night out.

The laughs were very few and far between, and just lacking in any depth, it was toilet humour, but it just wasn't delivered when any vigour or spice, it was all just a bit lifeless.

Ruth's scenes with her mother should have been funny, but they were just a little awkward, her scenes with possible male candidates were also a little cringe.

Howman didn't exactly rock here either, the whole thing was sadly just.... a bit naff. The late 90's were better than this.

4/10.
