Archie does not like Edith hanging around with Irene so much, so he tries to help getting Irene a job as a bookkeeper with his company.
Another funny episode as Irene gets a job but as a forklift operator on the same loading platform with Archie! The guys at work get a petition to have Irene fired, Archie is about to take it to his boss Mr Sanders (Sorrell Booke), however he wants to keep Irene and tells Archie if he finds out who has the petition he'll "burn his butt!" Archie is forced to tell his men to lay off, but it does not make him any happier about women's equality.
