The first time I saw this was (I think) probably over a year after its original air date. This is a great E! presentation about how sons and daughters of various renowned people are on their way to making names for themselves as well. But aside from that, how the offspring get there to where they'd want/like to be depends on whether they ride on their parents' coattails (which could also be considered as taking the easy way or route to stardom) or reach that final point on their own terms. Andrew Firestone (who was on the reality show The Bachelor) hosts this program as we get a look at several up-and-comers from segment to segment, and how they get/have gotten there is explained. This has to be my most favorite of the E! specials and my favorite segment is on the Jackson 3 (which would be Marlon Jackson's daughters and son: Valencia, Brittany and Marlon Jr.), but what I'd like to know is what happened to that album by the daughters? I know that Marlon Jr. (a.k.a. Chye Beats) finally released one as 1/2 of the rap duo Modern Day Poets, however I've yet to hear/see more from Valencia and Brittany (I'll just speculate that their album must've been shelved as well as some certain, other Jackson offspring's albums). What else that's discussed and covered is a plan before executing the move into showbiz. Anyway, this is an interesting look on the inside as to what we can expect from the next generation of actors, radio d.j.s, singers, etc. For those who haven't seen it already, check it out if y'all can.
