AWESOME

Well what can be said other than "How cool is this". I managed to get my hands on this short film as it was recommended to me by an agent. I highly recommend it if you would like to laugh and get a lump in your throat in equal measure. It manages to tell a complete story in a short space of time, which for me personally most shorts fail to do. They are usually statements. It also has a very strong social and moral point that you can take and is there to be appreciated or just watch and be amused. The performances are great and the direction is beautiful. This writer/director has a big future. I genuinely look forward to any work of his that is coming up as I'm sure it will feel and be original.

A revelation

I caught this film at the Queens International film critics awards. I must say it was a deserving winner. Its a great concept of super heroes being considered everyday people and having pitfalls of their character just like anyone else. Unlike most short films it has a strong and rich story that I think could even be expanded from a short to a feature. I highly recommend this as something that will lift the spirits for any viewer and give them some laughs and tears along the way (which is pretty amazing for a short). I look forward to the work of this director. He appears to have a grasp of entertaining the viewer and putting a message worth listening to across at the same time. As an added note the performances of the little girl and the lead (Craven) were both played beautifully.

Cool Little Movie

Wow, now this film is original. I saw it at Coachella this year and crowd went absolutely nuts at the end. It's the only film that has had me almost in tears within fifteen minutes and aside from emotional content has some of the strangest humour I've ever seen.

A 'Super' that can't fly is being told that he is no longer eligible for benefits from his welfare officer, because not being able able to fly is not a valid disability. That's how it starts and it get's stranger as the film goes on.

If not a masterpiece, definitely an amazing debut from a guy/girl who is definitely one to watch.
