I'd be EMBARASSED if I was Jimmy

This 'series' should be renamed Jimmy's Farce Farm. If you haven't seen it already....don't bother unless watching disasters is your thing. Imagine, if you will, a 10 year old running and 'owning' a candy store and you'll have a half-way idea of what this show is like. He buys 6 'rare- breed Pigs and in less than a year he has killed off 4 of them...but that's just the start. Geese that don't pay their way as well as Chickens, Ducks, and Goats....all mish-mash...free to eat each other's feed and generally having a jolly good lay-about. Add to the mix a GAY boar...intended to serve all the females followed by a near-blind and deaf SENIOR 'stud boar whose job is apparent;ly to follow in the trotter-steps of his predecessor....which he does in splendid fashion. Free money from Jamie Oliver and within months THAT money is all but gone so he borrows more on the strength of trading 2 X 1/4 shares in his 'Farm"...and it's not long before he borrows more and enlists the help of gullible well-meaning but UNSKILLED friends and relatives who promptly decide a bonfire on a very windy day after an unseasonably dry spell might be a good idea. Next scene....everything ablaze and 5 fire-trucks there to put things out. As a comedy it nearly makes it but the all-too-frequent scenes of Jimmy with a glass of something in his hand as the Sow rolls over and seems to be about to kill one of her...now quite rare and getting rarer offspring but he worries not...lest he spill his wine. Real farmers must have just lost it at that particular scene but the antics and frolicking continue as he recruits more 'friends'' ( unpaid ) to help him with the 'business' All in all a very depressing show for those of us who HAVE actually given our all to start and prosper in a business....and without the help and finances of people with money to burn. As a comedy...it's almost watchable but the reality of ths man's CHILDISH PIPE-DREAMS of success in a field he knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING are really an embarrassment to others that have worked long and hard and just barely succeeded...or not. SHAME ON YOU JIMMY. I will review the other 2 seasons at a later time as I have all 3 and see there are...to date...no reviews.....DUH......wonder why???
