Anyone who makes enough predictions about the future will inevitably get some things right and some things wrong. This special, which premiered in 1997, talks about the possibility of a major terrorist attack against New York City, while showing the World Trade Center. They talk about Suddam Hussein as the possible third antichrist, he ended up not living up to the title. It seems ironic, looking back at this from 2023, even when things seemed relatively calm in the 1990s, we still had a sense of doom and forboding. Admittedly a lot of it was based on speculation and conjuncture, it says so itself at the very beginning. They know how to put images and scary music together to make you think the world could soon be coming to an end, which seems more likely today than in 1997. Judge for yourself how much they got right and how much they got wrong.
