"Notebook" is a 10.5-minute experimental short film from 1963, so this little movie here is already way over 50 years old. Writer and director is Marie Menken and I have seen some of her other famous works recently and I must say this one here is probably among her weaker efforts. I am generally not a great experimental movie fan, so I am definitely a bit biased, but there are films from this genre that I like nonetheless or at least find occasionally interesting. This is not one of them. i was pretty bored here and I felt it dragged on more than one occasions despite being so short. The just isn't memorable at all. I give it a thumbs-down. Don't watch. Maybe watch something else by Menken instead.
