Konuma's follow up film concerns a man who runs a remote ski lodge and occasionally kidnaps and sexually tortures his female customers. The film explains this behavior as revenge for his wife leaving him for another man. Or course, the women come to love this treatment and come back for more. Konuma excels at psychosexual material like this and it's got a much more somber tone and isn't as over the top as the first film.
Unlike it's predecessor, this one was shot on film, but the Impulse transfer looks to be taken from a tape transfer and some scenes it looks like you are looking through a screen door. It's not unwatchable, and definitely not the worst one they've released. There is some optical fogging in it, but not as bad as the first film.
