Sex & Nudity

  • None. Pepe the girl penguin just appear to look a little bit flirtuous in a few rare times. But otherwise again, nothing.

Violence & Gore

  • This list over the content written here makes a reference to the "violent" scenes, as they appear in the uncut Russian version.
  • Several penguins fight over some stones. This scene is mostly made for a small laugh
  • Male penguins are completely covered in show due to a snowstorm.
  • Skua gulls steal some eggs, and eventually attack a few penguins. A penguin throws a stone on a skua gull.
  • A penguin talks to an another penguin about poachers - people who kill some penguins, but also take some into zoo.
  • A young penguin is nearly attacked by a skua gull a few times.
  • As a punishment, Lolo is spanked on his butt by his strict father. This scene is very mild anyway.
  • A female penguin talks to a group of penguin children about how dangerous several animals are.
  • A young penguin is catched by a skua gull. As the penguin has broken loose from the bird, some red scratches caused by the skua gull's claws can be seen. The penguin appears to be OK anyway.
  • A dog catches a skua gull's tail, and throws the bird away.
  • A leopard seal attempts to eat a couple of young penguins, until a killer whale appears and catch the seal. It is implied that the whale would have eaten the seal.
  • An iceberg collapses, causing a couple of young penguins to fall into water, and stuck in the middle of the sea while standing on a small iceberg.
  • Some young penguins are caught by poachers, and chased by the same people later on.
  • A man accidentally trips on a dog. The dog doesn't seem to react much anyway.
  • A bunch of penguin children are caught on net.
  • Several penguins are shot and killed. Here we actually see some blood on the water.

Profanity

  • Nothing explicit. In the uncut Russian version, a few words like "idiot" and "fool" can be heard, or eventually seen on an English sub much later in the movie. This may also depend on whoever subbed this movie.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Scenes showing how people called "poachers" treat penguins may frighten very small children, especially if the uncut version is viewed. A few other scenes, like the "leopard seal and killer whale scene" to name one example, are just a little bit dramatic.
