A crime buddy movie taking place in Paris, where two cops, two pals, decide to grab the big dol from the mob. With predictable results. Jean Rochefort and Victor Lanoux are giving powerful performances, although the relation between the two of them are maybe not drawn enough. It is not a masterpiece but a good piece of work, especially in the early eighties. Not long before the french crime movie industry fell asleep. Long before Olivier Marchal era. In this flick, everything sounds eighties. Everything. Jean Roger Milo is here as usual the big bad evil henchman. As usual for this too often used actor as the orderly monster. I must admit that he could have been the perfect Frankenstein's creature. But that's another story.
