Recycled Waste
SMK-49 September 2001
Alois Brummer released some awful pieces of wasted celluloid to the initially unsuspecting public, but this one tops them all. I doubt this film contains ANY original footage. Brummer simply cut bits and pieces of several movies (mostly his own) together into a completely incoherent whole. I spotted fairly long segments from three films, but I am sure there are at least two more.

To cash in on Ms Steeger's fame as a TV host, the episode featuring her in the nude from 'Liebesmarkt (1973)' was recycled - an episode that does not fit at all with the rest. Another atrocity was the inclusion of some footage with Franz Muxeneder - this had visibly yellowed. While most of the source material stems from 1973 and 1974, one older movie (featuring Rinaldo Talamonti) found its way into this mess too; fashion changed rapidly and radically in those years, and I would pinpoint this older film to approximately 1969.

WITHOUT EITHER HEAD OR TAIL
J. Steed17 September 1999
This Tiroler soft-sex comedy exists for at least a quarter out of left-overs from other films in the genre. Aficionados of Ingrid Steeger will be disappointed as she can be seen only in the first 15 minutes or so; this part is very clearly attached to the film and has nothing to do with the main story that only starts after about 20 minutes.

Well, story? It is no more than a heap of knocked together scenes without either head or tail, and a bunch of unattractive women and repulsive men. Awful direction and cinematography; no laughs, even no unintentional ones; and after 20 years not even a hint of nostalgia.
