O Sole Mio is a short romantic comedy, mostly silent, that plays in a Charlie Chaplin/Bugs Bunny style. It's a big day for MARCO, Italian waiter at his uncle ANTONIO's traditional small-town restaurant. His aspiration to one day own the business will be tested when a presidential candidate comes to visit with his family. However, he instantly falls in love with the important man's daughter MARIA, and will do everything he can to win her heart, while facing opposition not only from the candidate's bodyguards but also his own uncle, who wants this evening to be perfect at all costs.
