The Yearning Room is a film that explores the body's borders to the surrounding world, searching for the romantic love. Anne works as a Hotel cleaner. One day she recognize a guest at the Hotel and her youth memories comes back in her mind with lucidity. Anne dreams back in time when she spent the summer with her beautiful friend Julia. The summer when Anne met Olle. The summer when Julia betrayed Anne. In the Hotel starts the present to interfere with the past. The more the memories of Julia come stronger into Anne's mind, more she gets desire for the Man in the Hotel. In the final confrontation with him, she is forced to once and for all dive into the past. By reconciling with the past Anne regains herself in the present.
