Overall, I like the Aurora Teagarden movies; they're simple and kind of silly, but they're entertaining. This one, however, was just kind of off. It's been a year since the last movie, but the characters look like they've aged a lot more than a year. And what is up with Niall Matter??? He looks awful! I looked at the credits to see who was playing the part of Nick, and was surprised to see it was still Niall Matter. The long, shaggy, dirty looking hair and horrible black, bushy fake looking beard make him look like a homeless person, or he's dressed for Halloween. He also seems to have lost all of his personality; he wanders around like he's dazed and confused. When he's fighting with the murderer, who is a small, petite woman, he almost loses the battle. The story wasn't so bad, although obvious and predictable, but it just seemed like everyone was calling it in and didn't really want to be there.
