1/10
One star short of calling it a complete garbage.

Warning: Spoilers
I haven't seen the He Never Died movie, so I'll review She Never Died as a standalone one. The movie is incredibly boring. Save for the first scene, there's no element of surprise, thrill, tension... nothing. The story is so predictable that I spent the whole movie waiting for some kind of a twist, but it never came. The characters are so extremely shallow that it felt almost like watching a crew at local fast-food. Also, the characters seem to lack emotions. For example, if experienced something like seeing a brutal murder right in front of me, I'd be horrified, run away, call police... Yet in this movie the characters seem to merely show a mild discomfort. Nobody seems to be scared of the supposedly scary monster Lacey. Suzzie, who just went through a traumatic experience, seems completely undisturbed, even sticks around Lacey like she has nothing better to do with her life. Even the climax scene, where Lacey is slaughtering everyone in the room, which was supposed to look like a panick a horror, looked like people were just mingling a little bit faster, waiting their turn to be killed. Especially Meredith, who stands around with a glass of wine in her hand, like nothing's going on until it's her turn to be killed. All this makes the characters not believable, and the whole movie utterly boring and a complete waste of time.
