Having just watched a brilliant show based in Ireland 'Kin' I was hopeful that this show would be in a simlair standard. However after watching the first 2 episodes I knew this show was a million miles from being anywhere near as well written or acted, regardless that Kin is about the gangster element and Blue lights the police element. This show has many flaws and such basic ones that render it laughable the police checking under their cars each morning presumably for bombs makes you question if it's that bad put the car in the garage rather than leaving it exposed on the drive. Then you have the scene of a woman wielding 2 long kitchen knives forget about the fact the cops ignored the order to stand down due to undercover ops the problem was after getting her to put both knives on the ground they arrest her and walk away leaving both knives on the path!! So any of the bystanders could walk over and pick them up? It was then I am thinking WTF badly written and hopefully for Ireland not realistic!
