This movie had so much potential, but they decided to kill it with the final arc. It was illogical for the detectives to let go of the culprit when he was the only man walking in that empty road. The stupidity continued when the detective let the victim stay alone in a house that was supposedly safe. Literally, no place was safe when you didn't even caught the stalker yet.
It was satisfying to see the culprit shot, but I assumed that didn't kill him since he was still breathing somehow. I am also relieved that the victim's father survived. I still hate the detectives for their slowness and negative IQ though.
In the end, we never got a clear conclusion of the culprit. We know that he had been doing this for a long time, but what was his motive? We never know. It's annoying, but I guess this is your typical thriller movie.
