Alexia Méjean returns to her her home village for the burial of her uncle. Her neighbour Sylvain Jaume pays a visit and is ready to help her in hr stay in village. She meets also her mother Annie Méjean. Suddenly there is a second murder, Yves Tessier. Alexia meets then a childhood friend the gendarmerie captain Marc Messac. Another Truffles handler Paul Hugon has to share an informtion about the death of Maria, Alexia friend and Paul is also killed. Then Alexia discovers that his uncle, Yves Tessier and Paul Hungon, who were soldiers in the FRench-Algerian war were hidding a secret.
