Kathy Bates is amazing as always, however that is the only positive about this. The show is a lazy attempt to cash grab off a classic name, while pushing "stong whamen" and "divezitee". The show doesn't do anything new, unique, or original it is just like all the other lazy shows that are trying to cash in on recognizable names.
Maybe if they would have opted to call this show something else it could move out of the shadow of the superior original show with the late great Andy Griffith who would be shaking his head at such a lazy attempt to cash in on the great original show with this name sake.
