I'm from Louisiana and thought maybe this was a film my friends made. I was surprised to discover it had "real" actors and a 2 million budget.
Here's some low points:
A character refers to the county sheriff later in the film although LA doesn't have counties.
The sheriff has never even been to the upper floors of the building.
Not one person has seen Swamp People and know where to choot an alligator.
One sheriff deputy states that he's heard alligator taste like chicken. Literally everyone in Louisiana has eaten alligator.
The film insinuates some retribution for the bad guy because he was a military veteran and didn't actually kill a cop..but he's still a POS and apparently so is the sheriff who becomes infatuated with him.
The final scene has mountains which I've never once seen in Louisiana.
The film was shot in Thailand I think and looks nothing like Louisiana. I don't think the producers or director have even been to Louisiana.
