Unfortunately, this series did not turn out well. I haven't read the books, but if I were the book's author, I wouldn't have been proud of this film adaptation at all. As someone else mentioned in a review here, a first-year film student could have done better - that's very true. Nothing touched me. The directing, script, and acting were all poor. Not even the film score was any good. I don't know what their budget was, but they could have filmed much smarter. And why can't Swedish actors be more natural in front of the camera? Skip the theatrical style, please. Instead of a 1 out of 10, I rate this a 2 out of 10 because it was fun to see beautiful Norrköping from a film perspective. Everything else was torture. Sorry.
